A very elegant nose of flowers, fruits and nuts. On the palate if is elegant, round and refreshing; with a long finish with a very pleasant tangy aftertaste.
This wine is soft and well rounded, so it is best  on its own or with light meals.

This wine has a fine nose of minerals and spicy scents of fruits and flowers. On the palate it is full bodied and powerful with with a long finish of elegant fruit and fresh acidity.
Ideal as an Aperitif, or with Terrines, Fish, White Meats and Cheese.

This is from one of the very best
 Dézaley vineyards.

It has a powerful, complex mineral nose of flowers and caramel. On the palate there is an eloquent taste of terroir, coupled with an exquisite and smooth fruitiness, followed by a long finish.
A good match for the best dishes of Foie Gras, Coquilles St. Jacques, and Fish, Duck or Pheasant.
This is a wine that will definitely improve with age, 2005-2012.

This is a marvellous wine; soft, round but with plenty of taste.
We have French clients that love this wine; so that must be saying something!

If you want a change from Chardonnay, try a bottle of this wine.

Full-bodied, with a taste of dried fruit, apricot, peach and figs.
Elegant and balanced with a smoky finish.

In a 2003 issue of 'Schweizer Illustrierte al dente Wein Extra', this estate was voted 'Der Winzer des Jahres' and was given 18/20 quality points (= regional ausserordentliches Weingut, exzellente weine).

Zizerser Pinot Gris 2003 £19.00 A very special wine; exotic with a slightly sweet taste.
Good as an aperitif.
           
    TICINO
This region near the Italian border is noted for it's Mediterranean type climate, which is ideal for the late maturing Merlot grape.
These wines have a very different character to other Swiss wines, most whites are made from red merlot grapes (with minimum skin contact, which gives a white grape juice). These wines  should not be served too cold in order to enjoy them to the full.

This estate has some 40 hectares of quality vines and produces very good examples of modern Ticino wines.

This wine has delicate hints of honey on the nose and a persistent long finish.
15 75cl Terre di Gudo 2002 £14.00 Vinified as a white from Red Merlot grapes.
Do not serve too cold, as it will loose it's rounded Merlot nuances. A very interesting wine!
