Dézaley 'Chemin de Fer'
Grand Cru AOC |
2003 |
£14.00 |
100% Chasselas
This is from one of the very best
Dézaley vineyards.
It has a powerful, complex mineral nose of flowers and caramel. On the
palate there is an eloquent taste of terroir, coupled with an exquisite and smooth
fruitiness, followed by a long finish.
A good match for the best dishes of Foie Gras, Coquilles St. Jacques, and
Fish, Duck or Pheasant.
This is a wine that will definitely improve with age, 2005-2012. |
